BEIJING, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- On Sept. 20, China Enterprise Confederation (CEC) and China Entrepreneurs Association (CEA) released the list of "China's Top 500 Enterprises" in 2023 to the society at the Summit Forum of 2023 China's Top 500 Enterprises. At the forum, Mr. Jiang Xipei, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Far Eastern Holdings Group, shared his views on enterprise development, market environment and future development of Far Eastern Holdings Group. He said that although Far Eastern has been on the list of China's Top 500 Enterprises for 17 consecutive years, the company still needs to keep its heart and confidence and strive to become a world-class enterprise.
Jiang Xipei said that Far Eastern's development history can be described as a journey through thick and thin, but no matter what challenges it has encountered, it has always been able to hold fast to its original spirit and meet the future with confidence. He emphasized that enterprise confidence is a treasure comparable to gold in development, which comes from the synergy of the external environment and the inner confidence of entrepreneurs to move forward.
The theme of this year's forum was "Striving for a New Journey of Chinese Modernization, Accelerating the Construction of World-class Enterprises", and the participating entrepreneurs had a lively discussion on this theme. Mr. Jiang Xipei believes that only through the concerted efforts of all parties can we cultivate first-class enterprises and entrepreneurs, and that the strength of the country cannot be separated from the strength of the enterprises, and one of the characteristics of the entrepreneurs is that they are not afraid of difficulties and go forward, which is precisely the reason why the Chinese enterprises are shining on the global stage.
Building a world-class enterprise means taking on more responsibility for the enterprise. "Leading enterprises need to have the bearing of leading enterprises, to truly build themselves into enterprises with pattern, realm, sense of responsibility and contribution value." A leading company should be concerned about all segments of society, always insist on timely and extreme products and services to solve substantive problems for customers and society, and continue to maintain profitability while taking care of the well-being of its employees.
The Forum's 16-word guideline of "product excellence, brand excellence, innovation leadership, and modern governance" sets the standard for world-class enterprises. Jiang Xipei said that enterprises need to learn continuously, benchmark and surpass in all aspects, always keep the acumen of knowing the autumn in a single leaf, continuously improve the quality of products and services, continuously improve the level of operation and management, cultivate excellent teams, and build a learning organization, which coincides with the strategy and experience that Far Eastern has adhered to over the past 38 years of its development. These experiences provide useful reference for the future development of Chinese enterprises.
